Play is universal

Humans are not the only ones playing.

Play is universal and friendly play also comes in strange combinations play crosses the species divide. It creates trust, fun and co-operation between all sorts of animals. Cats and birds, tigers and monkeys, dogs and ducks, cats and dolphins, tigers and pigs, horse and peacocks, cows and kangaroos and my favorite polar bears and huskies and many, many more. Now that science is taking a serious look at play I believe that people have and the world have a chance of adapting and transforming for the better.  We will realize, as a species, that we need and are designed to be together. Play is the creator of empathy understanding and co-operation.

We have of course known this before, that we need to play, because it teaches us, to know and understand each other,
